East Van BOSS Passive House
The East Van Passive House is the first BOSS residential project to be built. This project is an exceptional example of sustainable design and construction, meeting the rigorous Passive House standards to create a high-performance, energy-efficient home.
Our team worked closely with the client and design team to ensure that the project met the Passive House standards while also achieving the client's design and functionality goals. This involved careful attention to every detail of the construction process, from the materials and insulation used to the placement of windows and doors.
The East Van Passive House boasts several energy-efficient features, including triple-pane windows, high-efficiency heat recovery ventilation, and super-insulated walls and roof. This results in a home that is up to 90% more energy-efficient than a traditional home, while also providing a comfortable living environment for its occupants.
At BCollective, we are committed to sustainable design and construction practices that promote environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. The East Van BOSS Passive House is a testament to our dedication to these principles, and we are proud to have played a role in its creation.
